Presented by Wedge Curatorial Projects in conjunction with the Studio Museum in Harlem. Inspired by Stephen's collaborations with Senegalese basket weavers based in New York and Dakar, and projects with artisans in South Africa, Peru and India, Man Made starts with the traditional basket-weaving process as its core concept and encourages us to reconsider both the conceptual and the aesthetical value of a handmade object, and celebrate traditional skills, techniques and cultures.

The DX is the only institution with the mandate to collect and preserve Canada's rich industrial design heritage. The collection includes 450 significant pieces spanning over six decades and significant paper archives. The Resource Centre is home to the permanent collection and will be open to the public coinciding with Toronto Design Week.
